- You’ll see two fields to enter your information, Your email address is in the first box and your phone number is in the second. Tap Next.
- Moniepoint will send you a 6-digit OTP code to verify your information. Enter the code and tap Next.
- You’ll be asked to provide your BVN (Bank Verification Number) and date of birth.
- After entering your BVN and date of birth, tap Next to proceed.
- You’ll be prompted to choose a username and a strong password for your Moniepoint account. Enter your preferred username and password, then tap Create Profile.
- Once done, you will get a confirmation that your profile has been created.
- Tap Proceed to continue.
- After creating your profile, you’ll need to set a 4-digit transaction PIN. This PIN will be used for transfers, buying airtime, data, bill payments, and more. Choose a PIN you can easily remember or write it down in a safe and secret place for reference.
- Enter the PIN in both provided boxes and tap Create PIN.
- You’ll be asked about enabling biometrics (Fingerprint) for additional security. You can choose Not Now if you don’t want to enable it or continue to the next step to enable it.
- If you choose to enable biometrics, add your fingerprint to the app.
- Provide your residential address and attestation, and then complete a face verification to confirm your identity as the BVN owner.
- Tap Continue upgrade.
- Proceed to verify your face.
- Tap Let’s start to record your face using your phone’s front camera.
- After recording your face, a message will appear. Then tap Done.
- Complete your Account Upgrade by imputing your NIN and Next of Kin (NOK) details.
- Finally, submit your address and attestation and wait for verification to be completed.
